Hairqare ingredient scanner and ChatGPT app · Last updated 29 October 2026

This notice covers the free ingredient scanner at app.hairqare.co (including the version embedded on hairqare.co and shared report pages) and the Baely Hair Ingredient Checker app in ChatGPT. The scanner is run by Hairqare (Holinic LLC). Our main privacy policy covers everything else we do.

What you send us

When you check a product, we receive the ingredient list and, if you enter them, the product name, brand and category. You don't need an account and we don't ask for your name, email or other personal details. Please don't type personal information into these fields.

How we use it

Shared reports

If you share a report, or tap "Open full report" in ChatGPT, we save a copy of that report under a random link so it can be opened later. Anyone with the link can view it. Shared reports are deleted automatically after 365 days.

The ChatGPT app

In ChatGPT, we only receive what ChatGPT sends to our tool: the ingredient list and any product name, brand or category. We don't receive your ChatGPT account details or your conversation. OpenAI handles your conversation under its own privacy policy.

Analytics and logs

The scanner website uses Google Tag Manager to measure how the scanner is used (for example, that a scan happened and its result), with tools such as Mixpanel, Microsoft Clarity and the Meta pixel. The report card inside ChatGPT runs no analytics. For the ChatGPT app we count each check (the date, the rating, the product type and the number of ingredients), without the ingredient list, the product name or anything that identifies you. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, keeps standard request logs (such as IP address and time) to keep the service secure.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't use the scanner to identify you.
